Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Flipfolio (the "app") handles your information. Flipfolio is published by PeekingOwl ("we", "us"). By using the app, you agree to this policy.
None. Flipfolio has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no backend server. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any personal information about you.
Everything you create in the app lives only in the app's private storage on your device, including:
This data never leaves your device through the app. We cannot see it, retrieve it, or restore it. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it (so we recommend using the in-app Backup feature to save your own copy).
If you choose to add a product photo, the app asks permission to use your camera or photo library. Photos you select or capture are copied into the app's local storage on your device and are used only to display your products. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
Flipfolio is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your download, purchase, and any crash diagnostics you choose to share are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, not by us. We receive only anonymous, aggregated sales and (if you opt in via iOS Settings) crash statistics from Apple — never your personal data or your in-app content.
Because all your data stays on your device, you are always in full control of it. You can edit or delete any item, clear all data, or export a backup at any time from within the app. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on our side.
[⚠️ Legal review] If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have statutory rights over personal data a business holds about you. Flipfolio's developer holds none. Have a privacy attorney confirm this wording for your jurisdiction before publishing.
Flipfolio is a business tool intended for general audiences and is rated 4+. It is not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your data is protected by your device's own security (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and iOS app sandboxing). Because nothing is transmitted off the device, there is no server-side data that could be exposed in a breach. No system is ever 100% secure, so we recommend keeping your device updated and protected with a passcode.
If our data practices change — for example, if a future version adds optional cloud backup — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date, and describe what changed before the feature collects any data.
